She won’t be there (but Large will)
One week until the TAR Christmas bash, so mark it on your calendar: Dec. 19th - Bar 9 in Hell’s Kitchen (9th Ave. between 53 & 54th St). We’ve got a killer house band kicking off sometime around 8pm - the Yule Dogs. The idea is they play and you get housed, get it? No cover, so even the deaf and sober might like the Yule Dogs - you will love them. Greg Kline will pass the hat for our favorite rifle company in Iraq (to date Greg raised over 8 grand for GPS systems and vital equipment), so bring some cash for that. Large might address the crowd, too. Throw Large a few bucks, he isn’t allergic to money. Just walk up and slap some 20s in his hand.
The folks at Budweiser, big fans of Take a Report, caught wind of our affair and have bought some rounds for Large & readership in advance. Get to Bar 9 sometime after 6-6:30, say hello to Large and tell him you dig TAR and enjoy yourself some brew. Large put in a call to Allison Stokke and Georgia girl for personal invites. No word yet from either camp, but their airline tickets await.
There will be chow (Fairway is donating a spread for the fundraising efforts), door prizes like concert & Ranger tickets, plus the grand prize, which will remain a secret. For now. Plus, there is no cover. Email your name for door prize eligibility.
